Real-Time 1/3 Octave Band Analysis

Analyzing a sound source on a frequency basis is time-consuming. This is where one-third of octave bands make the difference. The ST-15D applies 1/3 octave band analysis. The 1/3 octave analysis is carried out using real-time band-pass filtering with a decimation technique. This allows complex sound to be split into smaller sections or bands, which then produce detailed filter shapes to accurately specify the noise source.

Locate Noise Source With GPS

Measure sound level, detect sound frequency spectrum in real-time, and locate the sound source from one device. The integrated GPS shows the start and end-point of sound location details.

Smart Software For Sound Data Management

Monitor real-time noise measurement data and export historical data for further analysis on your computer using Scarlet Sound software. Scarlet Sound software is Windows PC-compatible. Install the software on the computer and connect the ST-15D to the computer via USB cable.
